I am not missing. I had some surgery recently to correct a slight defect in my nose (and breathing), and I am currently just taking it easy.
As my neighbour pointed out to me on Monday (yesterday), this has not been a good year for me. (;_;)
Sigh…
The photo shows the new hub-less wheels that will be on cars soon. I found the design rather intriguing.

Your neighbour is wrong! It has been a very good year for you. You have gained a much greater insight into yourself and the world around you. You have rid yourself of one or two idiots masquerading as friends, you have rediscovered yourself, pulled up some 'anchors' on your progress through life, and you are now so much more focussed and self-directed. You have been set free. You have set yourself free!
Yes, it may have been a bit painful..but as my dad always said..."The heat and pounding is applied to the metal that is useful and shapeable". An extraordinary thought for a Trini. He was slightly wiser than many. I think his words will be meaningful for you.
Pain and suffering do not necessarily mean its a bad time. It is the meaning we attach to any of our suffering that matters. The 'Gods' have been reshaping your existence, because they see that you are worth something to this world. That's my take on it.
So it has been the best time of your life!! Rejoice!.. Rejoice!! Like a supertanker you must now sail the ocean, charting your own course, disrespecting the wind and waves. Like an eagle you surf above mundane bullshit, leaving dung bettles on the manure heap to play with their shit-balls! REJOICE!!
